Magical Birthday Cake Card

Whimsical & magical mouse-inspired birthday card for a child designed and handmade by British illustrator Kitty Strand. 

An A6-sized birthday card, handmade in my Liverpool-based studio using high-quality, 300gsm cardstock. All cards are blank inside for you to write a heartfelt message and come with a recycled kraft envelope. 

The card features an original illustration I drew inspired by my favourite childhood memories. Inspired by birthdays filled with strawberry cakes that looked like they were baked by fairies, and blowing out candles surrounded by friends and family. 

The birthday card features a magical birthday cake filled with stars and candles, carried by a mouse with sweet gingham ears and a green woolly jumper. It would make a perfect gift to fill a child's special birthday with fun and whimsy, a keepsake they can keep and cherish for the rest of their life.
